Mountain Vines Cabernet Sauvignon / Maratheftiko
Paphos Regional Dry Red Wine
|
TASTING NOTES
A wine with deep red and intense colour, elegant aromas of lifted fruit with a slight mintiness and herbaceous, varietal characters combined with suspicions of smokey oak forming a well-integrated and complex nose. The palate is long, full and round, well balanced with silky smooth tannins. The same aromas as the nose at the end-palate create a harmonious wine that fully respects the grape varieties and its region of origin.

FOOD SUGGESTIONS
This is a fragrant, full-bodied wine that instantly conjures up images of lamb cutlets or kebabs or even moussaka enjoyed under a warm Mediterranean night sky glowing with stars. Pasta or other grilled meats prepared with tomatoes and herbs in the classic Mediterranean way served at room temperature are other potential matches.
